General Terms & Conditions

Commissions/custom fine art items START at $500. (Size varies according to amount of detail.)

Drawings for PERSONAL REUSE ONLY (i.e. tattoos or print items that will not be sold for profit) START at $100 and increase based on the amount of detail.  Digital images or digitized images are available upon request and at the agreement of the artist.

These Terms and Conditions are GENERAL and exceptions apply to certain projects.  All terms disclosed PRIOR to beginning work.

Commission Process
A consultation is provided with every commissioned work to ensure customer satisfaction. How it works...

  1. Artist provides free 15-minute consultation to determine if she can meet Client expectations.

  2. Once client agrees and deposit is made, ​Client will have an additional hour of consultation to discuss project details. Please have all details needed to complete project available or already e-mailed before the consultation.

  3. Artist will provide Client an initial draft of product for approval before proceeding. Client should provide all requests for changes at this time unless otherwise stated.

  4. Artist usually contacts Client throughout process to achieve best possible outcome.

  5. Artist will send photo/file of completed work to Client for approval.

  6. Final product will only be given to Client after final payment is made.  Digital products are released by e-mail, Google Drive, or other electronic medium.


  • All custom or commissioned work requires a deposit before work can begin. Product is released AFTER payment is made in full.

  • Total amount of art: 

    • $100-$199: Total balance due before services are rendered

    • $200- $1,500: 50% deposit/50 balance % at completion 

    • $1501-$5,000: 50% deposit/balance paid in up to 2 payments 

    • $5,000 and up: 25% deposit/balance paid in installments with final payment made at completion


  • All custom or commissioned work requires a deposit before work can begin. Product is released AFTER payment is made in full.​

  • ​Payments are accepted through PayPal/credit or debit card.

  • Payment is expected based on date agreed upon by Artist and Client OR upon approval of finished work if Client is ready to proceed before original deadline.

  • Mural work must be paid in full at the last phase of painting prior to project completion. (i.e. mural is almost complete)

  • Installment plans are available for original and commissioned artwork and may not exceed 60 days from date of original deposit.  Payment plans are created on a case-by-case basis and any payment plans not paid in full by agreed upon date will result in a loss of money paid as well as the product. Artwork is not released until final payment is made. 

Refunds & Credits
Refunds do not apply to commissioned work.  Credits are only issued in the event of the artist's error and at the discretion of the artist. Customer photo documentation may be required.

ALL SALES ARE FINAL.  Please ask all questions before making your purchase.  I am happy to communicate with you by phone or video call before you make your final decision.  Preference works very hard to ensure that customers are satisfied with plans throughout the commission process. All deposits and payments are non-refundable.  Services cannot be undone once rendered. 

  • If you change your mind about a commissioned artwork, please notify Preference IMMEDIATELY so she does not proceed. In this event, your deposit can be applied as a credit towards another eligible product, based on discretion of Artist.  

  • Requests to credit your deposit must be made within 48 hours of payment in order to avoid losing deposit completely.  Many works are started within the first 24-48 hours of deposit payment.
