Refunds & Credits
No refunds for services rendered. Preference works to ensure satisfaction from beginning to end. No refunds or credits will be issued for damage caused by Client or others within the Client's space. Please make sure you allow your mural to dry completely before touching.
Caring for Your New Mural
Your mural can take anywhere from 30-60 or more days to cure. This means that it is still drying and can be damaged. Temperature, humidity, and precipitation can affect this timing.
Cleaning Your Mural
If you are unable to wait the entire curing time, please allow at least 14 days before attempting to wipe your mural. Test a small area first. At that time, DO NOT scrub, but gently wipe with a damp cloth and gentle soap IF ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY. After your mural has cured, still wipe gently with a damp cloth and do not use harsh cleaners. Do not spray your mural with any liquid to clean.
Preserving Your Mural
Please do not allow regular touching, rubbing, or wiping of your mural. Avoid placing items directly on your mural or furniture directly in front of it.
ALL SALES ARE FINAL. Please ask all questions before making your purchase. I am happy to communicate with you by phone or video call before you make your final decision. Preference works very hard to ensure that customers are satisfied with plans throughout the commission process. All deposits and payments are non-refundable. Services cannot be undone once rendered.

Mural Commission Process
A consultation is provided with every mural commission to ensure customer satisfaction. How it works...
- After receiving submitted quote form, Artist confirms availability or acceptance of potential commission.
- Client may request further clarification in a free 15-minute consultation with Preference.
- Once client agrees and deposit is made, Client will have an additional hour of consultation to discuss project details. Please have all details needed to complete project available or already e-mailed before this consultation.
- Artist will provide Client an initial draft of product for approval before proceeding. Client should provide all requests for changes at this time unless otherwise stated.
- Artist may contact Client throughout process to achieve best possible outcome.
- All custom or commissioned work requires a deposit before work can begin. Product is released AFTER payment is made in full.
- Total amount of art:
- Up to $1,500: 50% deposit/50 balance % at completion
- $1501-$5,000: 50% deposit/balance paid in up to 2 payments
- $5,000 and up: 25% deposit/balance paid in installments with final payment made at completion
- All custom or commissioned work requires a deposit before work can begin.
- Murals are not completed until final payment is made. This is different from traditional commissions.
- Mural work must be paid in full before the last phase of painting begins. (i.e. mural is almost complete)
- Installment plans are available for murals and may not exceed 60 days from date of original deposit. This also extends the length of the completion date.
- Payment plans are created on a case by case basis and any payment plans not paid in full by agreed upon date will result in an incomplete product.
- Payments are accepted through PayPal/credit or debit card.
- Payment is expected based on date agreed upon by Artist and Client. If you wish to pay the remaining balance of a payment plan early, it does not mean your project will be finished immediately. It can, however, shorten the length of the project, but please consult with Preference in advance to make sure she is available by the NEW desired completion date.

- If you change your mind about your mural in progress, please notify Preference IMMEDIATELY so she does not proceed. Preference will NOT paint over an incomplete mural, but if you are PAUSING the project, please make that clear at the time.
